Import Hour Logs from Excel
Use your Fleet Report to update machines and hour logs
Merge duplicate plants
If you have two entries for the same plant (e.g. two #15), this merges them into the one that has a picture. All hour logs and service data move to that machine; the duplicate is removed.
Fix hour meter totals
Hour meters on the dashboard come from your logged hours (each new log updates the plant’s reading). If a total looks wrong, recompute from the database: each plant’s total is set to the latest reading (most recent date) in its hour logs.
Choose how to bring in Fleet Report data. The Fleet Report Excel file (.xlsb) contains the "Plant Input" sheet with hour logs for all plant machinery.
Re-import from latest Excel (recommended)
To remove all existing hour logs and service data and load the latest from your Excel: clear history first, then run the extract script (see docs/FLEET_IMPORT.md or ./scripts/run-fleet-import.sh), then import below.
Expected Excel format (Fleet Report)
- Plant Input sheet: PLANT #, DATE, START HOUR, END HOUR (or OPEN/CLOSE), OPERATOR, SITE
- Setup sheet: Machines, operators, sites
